Master Album is a photo and video organizing app developed and provided by Zhengzhou CoolTech Information Technology Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Company").
We attach great importance to your privacy and to the protection of your personal information. The core processing performed by Master Album — scanning, organizing, filtering, and deleting photos and videos — is carried out entirely on your local device, and we do not upload your photos or videos to our servers. Only when providing services such as accounts, membership, payment verification, usage statistics, and fault analysis is the necessary information processed over the network.
Please read and understand this Privacy Policy carefully before using Master Album. We will process your personal information within the scope described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect and Use
(1) Photos, videos, and media information
After you actively use the photo or video organizing features and grant the relevant authorization, Master Album will access the photos, videos, and media information related to the organizing features on your device in order to scan, display, categorize, move, or delete content. The above processing is carried out entirely on your local device, and we do not upload your photos or videos to our servers.
(2) Account and membership information
When you register, sign in, purchase a membership, restore a purchase, or verify your membership status, we may process your mobile phone number, the system-generated Master ID, order number, payment amount, payment time, payment method, membership status, and the necessary account security information, in order to create your account, verify payment results, synchronize membership benefits, and safeguard transaction security.
(3) Device, usage, and fault information
To ensure the stable operation of the app, compile product usage statistics, and troubleshoot faults, we may, through SDKs such as Umeng, process information including device model, operating system version, app version, distribution channel, Android ID, OAID, OpenUDID, GUID, network type, IP address, feature invocation records, crash logs, and timestamps; where permitted by the system and your authorization, the relevant SDKs may also process IMEI, IMSI, ICCID, location information, or software list information. The relevant information is used solely for usage statistics, fault analysis, service security, and product improvement.

2. Invocation of Device Permissions
Master Album requests necessary permissions only when you use the corresponding features, and permissions are not enabled by default:
- Photo and video access permission or storage permission: used to read, display, organize, move, and delete the photos and videos on your device;
- Media location information or location permission: used only when required by the system and when you actively authorize and use location-based organizing features, to read the location information already contained in your photos or videos and assist in organizing and displaying media content;
- Network and network status permission: used for account sign-in, membership status confirmation, payment verification, usage statistics, and fault reporting;
- Device status related permissions: used to obtain the necessary device identification information within the scope permitted by the system, in order to provide statistics and security services.
Master Album does not offer a shooting feature, and therefore will not request camera permission for its core organizing features. You may turn off permissions you have already granted at any time in your device's system settings. Once turned off, we will no longer process the relevant information through that permission, but the corresponding features may become unavailable; processing you previously carried out based on your authorization will not be affected.
3. Third-Party SDKs and Information Sharing
To implement functions such as usage statistics, crash monitoring, performance analysis, and WeChat Pay, we integrate the necessary third-party SDKs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos or videos with third parties.
Third-party SDKs will process information only to the extent necessary to implement the corresponding functions. We assess their personal information protection capabilities and require them to adopt corresponding data security measures. Except with your separate consent, to fulfill legal obligations, to respond to lawful requests from competent authorities, or in other circumstances provided for by laws and regulations, we will not share or disclose your personal information to other third parties.
4. Information Storage and Security
- Your photos and videos are always stored on your local device and will not be uploaded to our servers;
- Membership status and payment records are recorded and confirmed over the network in order to verify and restore membership benefits;
- Necessary device, usage statistics, and crash information will be stored lawfully within China, and retained only for the shortest period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy; app usage statistics are usually deleted or anonymized after one year;
- We adopt reasonable technical and managerial measures to prevent information from being accessed, disclosed, used, modified, damaged, or lost without authorization.
5. Your Rights
You may access and correct the relevant account information through the in-app settings or your device's system settings, turn off permissions such as photos, videos, and media location, and change or withdraw the scope of your authorization.
You may apply to delete your account via "Master Album - Settings - View Account - Delete Account". After your account is deleted, we will stop providing account-related services and will delete or anonymize the relevant personal information in accordance with laws and regulations, unless otherwise provided for by laws and regulations.
You may also stop using and uninstall Master Album. Uninstalling the app will not automatically clear the contents of your system photo library or system recycle bin; such content remains managed by your device's system.
6. Protection of Minors
If you are under the age of fourteen, please read this Policy accompanied by a guardian and use Master Album only after obtaining your guardian's consent. We do not actively collect personal information targeting minors; if we discover that we have processed a minor's personal information without the guardian's consent, we will delete it or take other necessary measures as soon as possible in accordance with the law.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in product features, service content, or laws and regulations. The updated Policy will be published in the app or on this page, with the latest revision date indicated. Where there is a material change to the purpose, method, or scope of processing, we will obtain your consent again in accordance with the law.
